The company Salgkamis S. & Sons has been active in the bakery and confectionery sector for more than a century. The involvement of the Salgkamis family in this particular sector began before 1900 in Kesani, Eastern Thrace, where Alexandros Salgkamis’s grandfather owned a bakery. The first bakery in Alexandroupolis was founded in 1945. In 1981, Alexandros Salgkamis’ sons established an exemplary production unit outside the city. Today, the company is in its fifth generation, continuing its long and successful journey in a modern production facility.
